Project of AthlonMore about Athlon
Getting audiences engaged
The British Olympic Association selects Team GB from the best sportsmen and women, and gets them ready to compete in the summer and winter Olympics and Paralympics. Key to this is keeping the athletes and their families informed about the upcoming Games. BOA also offers commercial partnerships, allowing key sponsors access to Team GB.
Our task was to create a product that helps deliver more efficient communication and better activation of the partnerships.
User stories that target athlete needs
We conducted a planning stage where we we interviewed athletes and partners and developed tailored user stories and feature lists.
This helped ensure all functionality was tightly targeted at the various users’ needs, and not too complex for administrators to manage. With various stakeholders and workflows to design for, we used our custom development framework ‘Silla.io’ to create a flexible, dynamic pages.
A UI designed to deliver a fast and rewarding brand experience

A dynamic system
Pre-scheduled system events and a complex notifications scheme helped keep the hub alive and users engaged with the content created by Team GB and it’s partners.
Custom access controls
We created a multi-level ACL, to ensure that all types of stakeholders around an olympic games could get pertinent information directly from the British Olympic Association.
